The Phoenix has a very cool article about the history of the Columbia House mail-order-record program. I had it, and they sent me such gems like ‘Bel Biv Devoe’, and the ‘Mo Money’ soundtrack…..to the tune of $25 shipped each.

Tunecore has been a tool widely used by bands to get their music on all of the online distro outlets at an inexpensive cost.
They are now moving on to publishing.
